Upon arrival at the Big Blue Open House, student ambassadors will greet you at the Harris-Jefferson Student Center. President Capehart will then welcome you during the first-ever open house as Bluefield State University.

Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with deans, faculty members, and directors in their program of interest to familiarize themselves with the curriculum.

Next, you will learn about student activities, clubs and organizations, and student support services to help you succeed along your educational journey.

Big Blue Dining service will provide lunch so you can get a taste of our food offered on campus.

We will conclude the day by cheering on our Big Blue Men’s Basketball Team as they host the Virginia University of Lynchburg
