Bluefield State University Soccer took down Edward Waters in a natural site game on Monday.
The Big Blue got on the board early after a goal in the first 18 seconds by Carmen Galante, assisted by Ava Jakich-Kunze. Jakich-Kunze contributed another assist on a goal by Isabella Esteves in the 9th minute. Esteves added another in the 26th minute, assisted by Galante. The Big Blue scored the final goal of the match in the 46th minute through a PK from Kira Zoeller.
BSU outshot Edward Waters 19-8 with Big Blue goalie collecting eight saves on the day.
This victory moves the Big Blue to a 7-7-3 record.
