BSU Soccer Takes Down Emory & Henry

 Bluefield State women’s soccer took down Emory & Henry 1-0 at Fred Selfe Stadium on Wednesday.

Kira Zoeller scored the lone goal of the game for the Big Blue to give them the 1-0 lead in the 21st minute of the match.

Both teams had 12 shots throughout the game with the Big Blue having five on goal compared to the Wasps seven.

Big Blue goalie Rylee Truslow collected seven saves on the day.

“We watched our last game back as a team and it was clear that with a few adjustments to our game plan we could switch around the results to our favor” said Scott Forster. “Credit to the team for implementing the changes and focusing on our game when things got physical.”

The Big Blue will travel to Shaw University Monday, October 24th at 11 a.m.
