Senator Joe Manchin III’s Regional Coordinator Ben Spurlock visited the Summers County Council on Aging,

Senator Joe Manchin III’s Regional Coordinator Ben Spurlock visited the Summers County Council on Aging, Inc today to talk about the Inflation Reduction Act and how it positively serves our Seniors by lowering the cost of healthcare. We have posted a bit of literature given to us today to help communicate the timeline and specifics happening regarding that.

The Senior Center and their employees are such a huge asset to our community. They provide transportation with their buses to help offset the burden of travel to and from Doctor visits, hot and fresh lunches, and much much more. Mayor Scott expressed his deep appreciation for this organization and the importance of us as a community pulling together and supporting them.

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance Ben urges us to contact his office at 304-342-5855. They are here to listen and help grow towards a better West Virginia, together.
