In Bluefield State Women's Soccer first year in existence (2021-22), they were recognized for their achievement in the classroom by being awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.
A total of 819 teams were recognized for having a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Big Blue posted a 3.68 team GPA for the year.
"Being a student athlete is a challenge" said Head Coach Scott Forster. "It's great to see players commitment and determination shine through in the classroom and be acknowledged at the national level."
