Hinton Railroad Days featuring Autumn Colors Express

What an absolutely amazing Hinton Railroad Days featuring Autumn Colors Express! The City of Hinton would like to extend a huge thank you to the entire community. So many hands were involved to make this annual event go as awesome, and smoothly as it did. Hinton was definitely put on a beautiful pedestal and couldn’t have had better weather. Lots of work went into preparing this 4 day event.

Mayor Jack Scott said “We heard so many compliments telling us we captured that small town vibe and that our City is a gem waiting to be found. It is enormously gratifying to hear others say positive things about us. And we worked together all of us to make this a great event.”

We want to give special thanks to: Mayor Jack Scott, the entire City Council, City Of Hinton  Public Works Department,  Hinton Police Department, City Manager Cris Meadows, Amy Berry, Stacy Ford, WillowWood Country Club - Home of Hinton Elks Lodge 821 Tina Westfall-Allen, Matt Mullins with Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns, Candice Lee Helms, our Summers County Commissioners, Mountain Plex, WV Army National Guard, McCreery Conference & Event Center, FM 98.3 WV, Explore Summers County, Talcott Fire Department, Sue Bennet, C & O Historical Society, Bobby Cox, River Rail Photo, Summers County Emergency Medical Services, Summers County Council on Aging, Inc, Steve Mounts and Robbie Richmond for driving the buses as well as Chris Brust & Berry's Campground & Tiger's, the vendors, the local businesses throughout the entire town, and most importantly all of the attendees that we could not do it without.

This event went off without a hitch, and we are looking forward to planning next year’s! Thanks for coming together everyone. Let’s do it again!
