The City is aware of the damage done by recent rains to the 17th Ave culvert collapse, the site is being monitored by the State Road and will be assessed tomorrow to determine a plan for next week. State DOH officials have determined on our behalf and theirs that it’s best to close off the old drainage culvert and build a new one. This engineering has already begun. This is an extremely important issue for us and we have been in contact with State Highway officials since it happened.
