Hats off to the Summers County Comprehensive High School Electrical Program and their instructor, Josh Vass.

Hats off to the Summers County Comprehensive High School Electrical Program and their instructor, Josh Vass.

This team consisting of Cruz Testerman, Xander Hudgins, Emilee Smith, and Eli Meadows were responsible for the beautiful display of luminaries for the Christmas Luminary Walk this past Saturday.

Outside of the Electrical Program, Cruz participates in Football, basketball, and track. He was in the State Track meet last year and was also an All-Coalfield Conference football player this year. Emilee is on the volleyball and archery teams and was also recently crowned Snow Queen for this year’s Christmas parade. Xander Hudgins is a star player on the football team and recent recipient of the Dickie Noel “Heart & Hustle” award, he is also on the baseball team. Eli Meadows has been a great volunteer to the community and is on the track team.

These fine young men and woman did a great job and we feel they deserve a huge round of applause for not only their work this weekend but also the work they do for their school and community.
