VB Goes 2-0 in BSU Fall Classic Tournament

Bluefield State University Volleyball took down both Kentucky State University and Salem University 3-0 in the BSU Fall Classic on Saturday.

Bluefield State took down Kentucky State in three sets with scores of 25-23, 25-13, and 25-20. Allyson Martin led the Big Blue in kills with 14 and eight digs, followed by Kateryna Dashevska with seven and Brishaela McHaney with six. Aydan Dalak added six aces along with 15 assists.

In match two of the day, the Big Blue defeated Salem 25-18, 25-21 and 25-12. Dashevska contributed 12 kills with Martin following with nine and McHaney with six. Dalak and Martin each had four aces in game two. Caely Pickerd, Lindsey Neal and Kaylee Winchell had one block apiece followed by 20 assists from Dalak and ten from Dashevska.
