The average price of premium gas in West Virginia was $3.78, compared to $3.9 the week before.
The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.
The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.
